New Orleans Newborn Photography

It’s so fun to follow my couples on their journey’s together. I really value making those connections, it’s one of my favorite parts of the job. I recently experienced my first newborn photo session. Isla was exactly 7 days old, they say that’s in the “sweet spot” for photographing a new babe because they aren’t too wiggly yet! This past weekend I met Miles and got to do it all over again. He hit the two week mark. The difference in a week on this planet is huge!

I don’t know about y’all but the majority of my baby pictures were taken on disposable cameras and while cool and retro now, it would have been cool to have some professional snaps.

When I first got to snuggle Isla, I started to tear up, I mean what a sweet precious baby angel! Am I right folks?! Now, I don’t have any kiddos of my own, at least not yet, but I love capturing these first few days. Isla is short for Island. Think eye-la. We were all proud when she made it though the session diaper and disaster free.

I’ll end with one more of Miles! It’s just so hard to stop. More sessions like these please!!!
